About ClarityGoals LLC

Our mission

Our mission is widespread clarity: a world in which a clear path to success is found by anyone who seeks it.

History

The Prototype

The first prototype of the ClarityGoals app was created in late 2019. At that time it was called the “Clarity Goal Achiever” and it was used to solve the founder’s own problems for over 5 years before becoming available to you as a mobile and web app.

The Backdrop

The founder was a big dreamer. Extremely driven, he was promoted to COO of an eCommerce and software company at the young age of 24.

Early on it was a tiny company. One day he was approached by the CEO and asked how they could triple revenues, in one year. The calculations were done. The plan was made. The goal was hit. The trajectory that was necessary caused a feedback loop that far exceeded that number the year after. The eCommerce side of the business developed from a literal homemade shed to a warehouse with around 300,000 SKUs and a skilled team.

Due to this experience, and the influence of other brilliant business leaders, the founder began to view life, goal tracking, business, and strategy-across-time in an entirely new way.

The Problem

He had his goals written down (somewhere) but it was so easy to forget which to work on and when. Brain fog and shifting priorities were a routine part of life.

Life is hard, things are rarely given for free, and nothing is guaranteed. The only way to prove he really deserved something was to get it. He wasn’t going to grow old without truly pursuing exactly what he wanted in his one shot at life. And wanting something is not enough to achieve it.

Between business, athletic, and personal goals, the founder couldn’t keep on track. He’d obsess over work and his health would slip. He’d obsess over fitness and his work would slip. He’d  pursue girls at the bars and both would slip. He needed a way to handle the things he wanted, efficiently, across time.

One day he had an epiphany. While driving and listening to a business podcast, he could clearly see in his mind the goal tracking layout that was necessary to give him the best chance of hitting his 10 year goals. When he got home that layout was first drafted in a Google Sheet.

First success of the ClarityGoals prototype

The founder of ClarityGoals wanted to be an entrepreneur since his teens. He tried and failed multiple times in college to be just that. The thing is, he realized one doesn’t just “go be an entrepreneur”. You need to find the problem, that fixing has the highest value to humanity, that you’re actually capable of solving, given enough time.

After being a COO, he went into marketing for 6 years, knowing mastery of marketing is applicable to any business he’d create.

Once he decided that ClarityGoals was a valuable solution to his real life problem, (he couldn’t be the only one needing some help with direction—right?), he got to work learning software programming and IT. It took 5 years to understand software and the internet well enough to bring an app to market.

How was he able to think so far ahead?

Throughout the learning and building, each step, from month, to quarter, to year, up to 5 years, he used his prototype of ClarityGoals to map out his path and mark his progress. He hit 5 out of 6 of his first ‘tracked 5-year goals’.

In this sense, the ClarityGoals prototype actually built the ClarityGoals app and the ClarityGoals LLC business. How’s that for a feedback loop?

The Incorporation

ClarityGoals LLC was founded in 2022; the founder’s own early success using his prototype solidified in his mind that the app was, presently, the most valuable thing that he could give to humanity.

The website you’re on now was created soon after and lay dormant for a few years while the founder got all this coding and IT stuff figured out. (Don’t worry—your sensitive app data is encrypted and leak-proof).

Everything else slowly came together around his full-time work and workout/social schedules.

Present day

Now we’re here. The app is live. You should try it out, if you haven’t already. We believe it’ll be worth it.
